So many times in Nepal and again new things to experience. No visit to Nepal is the same. That’s what makes this country so special for me. What is better than starting the new year with a trip to my beloved Nepal?! I was very curious how it would be in January, not really THE month to go, but any way, January 1st, it finally happened. The newspapers report extreme cold in Kathmandu, mist is hanging in the valley. This prevents the sun to penetrate during the day, so during the day and night it´s getting very cold. You must know that there is no heating in the houses, maybe a gas or wood-burning stove, but generally no heating in the house.
