I have to tell you about fireflies. I like this time of the year with the little worms (actually little beetles).
In the evening going out at dusk, making a nice evening walk, seeing these little fireflies fly. This is a miracle of nature for me. I love it!

Explanation
The little animals send out light signals, so that males and females can find each 
other to mate. The female that lights the most brightly attracts the most males. The males fly at a height of 2 to 3 meters and let themselves fall on a female when they discover one. After mating, the male dies, the female switches off her light and starts the egg laying. In Europe, only the males can fly and light, the females cannot fly. During the mating time, the females are sitting and glowing in the grass or in bushes, the males dance shining in the air, looking out for their partners.
